6 days of SEGA Christmas... It's too late for it now, but that gives me an idea for next year. A forum Advent calender with a new game each day to play. Hey, any excuse to play SMS games right?

Got mine today too! I'm afraid to open the shipping box though, for fear there's no wrapping inside or the game boxes ripped the wrapping or something. Can't wait! Thank you Secret Semin Santa!

Cheers buddy! It's safe to open it. The games are individually wrapped and are surrounded by lot's of bubble wrap.

I make a mistake and opened mine already. I was expecting a few packages in the mail and it didn't even enter my mind that it could be my secret Santa package. Special thanks to Maikol my secret Santa who sent me Tec-Toy Bart vs. The Space Mutants, Tec-Toy Global Gladiators, and cases and books for PAL Lucky Dime Caper and Krusty's Fun House. Thanks again Maikol. I also have my package ready to ship and it will go out tomorrow. I'm glad you enjoyed them. Merry Xmas. I will be posting my stuff received soon...

I managed to restrain myself from opening my present before Xmas. I got some cool stuff. I'm not even sure what some of it is! Sorry for the poor pics, the camera on my phone is shite. I got an Aussie Kenseiden, Satelite 7 repro (I think), a pirate Mega Drive games (I think) and a Bart vs Space Mutants repro (I think!). Cheers to my Secret Santa.

I think my Santa didn't understand my list as I got three very common games that I obviously already own. Furthermore also T2 Arcade game complete, but I bought it myself almost two months ago and scratched it off the list quite a while ago. Either way, my fault I guess for the last one but at least I can trade that one further. Guess I'll take a tighter look at the spending budget next time as I spent quite over the limit seeing the last year's gifts. Didn't want my buddy to feel left out. Sorry for dampening the Christmas spirit, but you can understand my disappointment after the anticipation of my first Secret Santa and having the gift here for a month.

You're being a bit ungrateful man. When you sent your list, T2 was on it, that's why I got it. And despite that being a bit pricey as it was, I thew in a few common games for other consoles which were on your wanted list, so it wasn't obvious you already owned them. I also sent a custom keyring featuring one of your fave games for the SMS, is there no love for that either?

Sure there is love for that, but about the rest. T2 is an uncommon game but still can be gotten quite cheap. The other games are clearly listed as games that I already own so they're not on my wanted list. I'm not being ungrateful, just realistic on what the budget was, that's all. You have to understand the disappointment.
I would, for future reference, add a bottom limit for a budget as well seeing what meu2 got and what he sent out. I also spent around 45 Euro plus 20 Euro in shipping and ended up with a 15 Euro game, a 1 Euro key chain and then of course the shipping (but from experience, that's not expensive at all from the UK to Belgium).

If you want to start putting prices on things, I easily spent over 45 euros on that stuff. If you're list didn't consist of ridiculously rare games, perhaps you wouldn't have been so disappointed.
Now I've read your Wanted page again, I can see you've mentioned that the games you've listed are ones you own (not what you want), so that's my fault. It's still a bit confusing though.

I was really impressed by the great package that my secret santa Grolt got me. He got me the US versions of Rescue Mission, Shanghai, Choplifter, Great Baseball, Monopoly, Rambo First Blood Part II, and Hang On/Astro Warrior. He also got me the EU versions of Zillion II and Strider, and then to top it off, Mahjongg!! There was also an insert for World Grand Prix hiding underneath Great Baseball, so I'm not sure what to think about that.... lol ;D Thanks again Grolt. Attachments:

Haha, you guys really know how to take the "secret" out of a Secret Santa match up ;D ;D ;D!
In all honesty though I think there comes a point for the serious collectors where it's a bit pointless taking part in this kind of thing. I'll use myself as an example: I've never taken part in this, even though every year I really want to. I know that the list of SMS (or even MD for that matter) items that I would like are either real expensive or uber rare, so to take part would be putting a huge burden on somebody. How can I expect a secret santa to magic items out of thin air on a budget when I can't find them myself without a budget!

Don't know if I put it there at some point or if I got it that way. Let's just pretend I gave it to you because I knew you'd somehow put it to some incredibly good use? Glad you enjoyed the games though man, I didn't want to stop getting you games, your list was so epic haha! Me, I got two 32X games from the Santa Co-ordinator himself, Night Trap and Wrestlemania. Thanks to Prophet now I only need RBI Baseball, of all things, to complete the 32X set. Thanks a lot, man, the games were in great condition (Wrestlemania is sealed!) and a nice surprise!!!
