It's not too surprising that someone has decided to sell theirs, although the asking price is rather optimistic. I am making more of them, admittedly not very quickly. I'm sure the vast majority of people who have bought the game so far got it with the intention of playing it and having it in their collection rather than buying it just to make a profit.

Why you clown why? I would never get the idea to sell my copy. I'm proud of it. But it was just a question of time that someone is going to sell his copy and make a lot of money with it Bad man.

I really want to get my hands on a copy when playgeneration makes more, but I can wait until he makes more of them. I really hope that this doesn't actually sell for that price, or that might set a precedence for collectors that are not part of this forum.

If I were Playgen I would not sell to known scalpers or people I don't know. To be fair though, I don't know how far this game is known, it's probably someone who has posted in this thread or SMSPower (I assume he's selling there too). Looking back in this thread, racort and martinlaw are in Spain. Just sayin'.

My address is known by several mates of the forum: gallos_11, playgeneration, Aypok, Stan, demizz30... and they can say that I don´t live in Fuenlabrada ( Madrid ) as the seller of ebay. I can confirm is not martinlaw. When you don´t know one thing is better not to open your mouth and if you like to play as detective play with this: www.ebay.com/itm/World-Carmen-Sandiego-Master-System-CIB-/400085487270?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item5d26f40ea6Playgeneration can say that he send more than 2 copies to Spain , at least 5. Without rancor dear Watson, good luck in the upcoming cases. Regards

If I were Playgen I would not sell to known scalpers or people I don't know.. I didn't think it would be fair to limit it to only existing members of this site, there's Master System fans out there that aren't registered on here or previously known to me. I fully anticipated that it would be resold by at least someone eventually, you can't expect everyone to keep every game they buy. Actually I thought it would come up for sale sooner than it did.

I think it’s fairly reasonable to expect someone to sell on their copy of the game at some point. I’m also surprised it took so long to appear on eBay. However, that asking price is completely ridiculous and highlights the seller to be nothing but an opportunist scalper. Hopefully they will get nothing except plenty of eBay fees.

Why are you even caring..there will be always people trying to abuse every situation. Just ignore them and live your life. If someone is gonna buy a 250 euros games without even Googling its name I only feel sorry for them.
It doesn't stop me releasing rare dumps or prototypes to think that people are making reproductions and not clearly advertising them as such. Constructive actions, generosity and creation are standing the test of time better than abusive people. The best you can do to is to spread the knowledge of how not get abused as much as possible and churn as much original copies as you can :-)

My point is, those people are not taking money away from you. Just celebrate Playgeneration & Aypok for being awesome and putting the energy into making a game, and ignore the rest

I have an idea. How about if we put Digger Chan to the rarity list? 4 Pak All Action is just in there as a unlicenced game. Perhaps it helps Playgen to sell more copies of the game =)

And more people trying to sell it off for profit. Then again, it would show some more info on it and where to get it but I think Playgen has enough work with the current list of demand.

It always happens eventually, sucks ass though, especially since Playgen isn't doing this to make profit and just charging people what it costs to make them.
I suppose they'll all end up for sale eventually though.
