sega8bit.com works for me... redirects immediately to smstributes.co.uk Weird. For the last year or so, every computer on which I have tried to connect to "sega8bit.com" simply said "cannot connect to server". I've tried several browsers and they all give the same error (without waiting - the error appears instantly). Telnet gives the same result - I've just tried it: $ telnet sega8bit.com 80 Trying 212.53.64.49... telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused It redirects? Seems like an odd thing to do... Perhaps it'd be better to simple let the web server handle it properly.

"www.sega8bit.com" works fine, but "sega8bit.com" doesn't. That's one of my [many] pet peeves; incorrectly set up domains. Come on, Sinistral - add a CNAME record in the DNS settings. :)

The having to put "www" before thing has become ingrained in my memory now, but for months I'd continually put it in without and curse the screen. CNAME, I command you!

The reason this wasn't setup is because the company I choose (netbenefit) are total crap. They offer no DNS control at all and want to charge for the smallest of changes. I had been trying for a while to migrate the domain to 123-reg but the admin at netbenfit keept on rejecting it (despite my giving consent.) If you want to take ownership of this task and run with it let me know I'll pm you the details.
