Has anyone heard of Slap Attack? I saw it listed in an advert in an old games mag, do you think they meant Slap Shot or Submarine Attack? ;D

Everyone bug Sinistral! I just sent him scans for the site from Sega Visions magazine where they have a two page strategy article for Pat Riley Basketball for the Master System. They also had an article on Lucky Dime Caper, so it looks like they were planning on releasing that one in the US.

I don't know if it meets the requirement of that site. I am not sure what the dpi is, and the scans are from issues of Sega Vision magazines that were scanned by other people. I can always ask if they mind me pulling some of the JPEGS out of the CBR files for fan sites like thos one and SMS Power.

How about linking the site you got them from?

I got them from Retromags.com. I sent all the relevant stuff to "Andy", and he'll be putting it up on the site when he can. I also went through a pile of magazines and pulled out all the relevant stuff for Sega16bit.com too. There is a ton of stuff

Sonic Edusoft has been released:
The graphics are really nice, so is the music, I think its what Sonic Blast should have looked like.

Something I also posted in SMSPower boards. References for two apparently unreleased games for the Master System: Tecmo Cup Football Game and Battletoads. These can be found in a Spanish promo VHS by SEGA from early 1993 (and now uploaded to YouTube). A couple of pics of Tecmo Cup Football Game: On screen it reads: "Available" "Mega Drive" "Master Sistem II" (notice the name misspelling, and the console is also referred with the numeral of the second model) The gameplay footage is from the also unreleased (but eventually leaked) Mega Drive version, but this is the case of every multi-platform game appearing in this VHS. This can be checked in this YouTube video (first part of the aforementioned VHS), at 2:30. es.youtube.com/watch?v=iTZ5OZGZX4YAnd a couple of pics of Battletoads: Again, the screen reads: "Available" "Mega Drive" "Master Sistem II" (misspelled and referred with the numeral again) Notice that this isn't "Battletoads in Battlemaniacs", intended for release in Europe by Virgin in 1994, and eventually released in Brazil by Tec Toy. This is actually the original "Battletoads" NES game, ported and released by SEGA in 1993 for the Mega Drive and Game Gear (this version isn't referenced in the video, though). The gameplay footage, again, is from the Mega Drive version. Can be checked in this other YouTube video (second part of the same VHS), at 0:42. es.youtube.com/watch?v=bIybXTi9mcE

this site lists some games unreleased in Japan, some were released elsewhere, but theres a couple of new names: www.gamengai.com/unreleased.php?system=markiiiChampion Ski Colonus Lift Wolfman Also Superman is listed as being made by Sega. The Graftgold/Virgin Superman game came out in 93 which is way too late for a Japanese release. So perhaps there was a totally different Superman game in development.
