Has anyone tried the remake of the TG16 version for PC? I highly recommend it to WB3 veterans, it's super challenging and overall very well made. Is this Monster Lair, or actually a port of The Dragon's Trap? The whole chronology is pretty convoluted and confusing. If it is the former, is it all intricate and backwards repetitive like The Dragon's Trap, or is it more like the first? The screencaps I've seen of it on Wikipedia made it tough to tell.

I was just going through the old posts trying to find Lord of the Sword and stumbled upon this: linkBut hey, for a game this good, it deserves two threads!

I preffer Dragon's Trap over Dragon's Curse anyday. I know they tried to improve the graphics and music for the TG16 release but I felt that the original version for the sms was good enough. With the new changes for the TG16 I felt wasn't necessary and actually takes away from that authentic Wonderboy feel. If they were going to improve it why not improve everything and not just the music and sprites. Maybe it's just me but if it didn't play like the time when I was a kid it's not the same game I use to remember. That being said both games are essentially the same
