My collection keeps getting bigger and bigger but I have no place to put my sms games anymore! Where do you keep your games? Do you put them in boxes and hide them behind the couch? Do you build special display cases so everyone can see it? Do you place them whereever there is some rom? Or do you hace some special little room filles with SMS goodness? I keep mine on a shelf behind my couch and I keep my fave games in the sega caddy. I think I might bug a small closet (or whatever you guys call it) and put them in there together with my psp games.

Yeah your best off with bookshelves. I've run out of space so I have my favorite 100 out on a bookcase and the rest in stacks on the top of another bookcase.

Yeah but I can't really fit a huge bookcase in my tiny room I've posted some pics of my collection in the topic named.. my collection . Since I probably won't have more than 60-ish games (eventually) I'm thinking about building something myself for all the sms games. Like 1 loong piece of casing (?) for put all the sms games next to eachother and hang it up the wall. 60 games.. how long could that be? 2 meters?

each regular game box is exactly 1 inch wide if thats any help i went down B and Q and bought some planks of wood (sanded and finished and the like) each plank was really long and about 6 inches wide. I then made 2 planks so they fit down one whole length of my wall, then repeated this about 10 inches below. each shelf can hold 151 sms games so potentially i can have 302 games on 2 shelves... looks really ace too. cant wait till i have 302 to fill it up !!

I have this huge ass antique Chinese warddrobe thingie. Enough space for both my NES and SMS collections. Only cost 300, with shipping and they even put it in our apartment for the price.

I use 2 bookcases, one holds 5x23 games and is full, and the other holds 24x4 and has 1 1/2 shelves filled. the second bookcase currently holds all my books, dvds and other games and whatnot..
my sms doubles/faeces MD games/the rest of my collection/a chair live in the cupboard right opposite my bedroom door.
I have exactly 150 games(not counting US/doubles)

Well I now have one bookcase which is quite deep, so allows me to double up with each shelf. I think it has around 180 games in it, the rest I have in a cupboard next to it. I just have the games I play most at the front, and least at the back. Makes my collection look half the size at a glance though! But then, who am I gonna show it off to?? Haha! At present I don't have anything to show of my consoles / accessories, again due to room, so they're just in the cupboard with the rest of my games! Hope to sort that out whenever I buy my next place in a few years.

Quite. I recently got two "Billy" bookcases from them and they do a great job. Eight rows of 29 SMS games - each of which are exactly two games deep. I store them just one layer deep, but could potentially store twice as many. I would add pictures, but my camera has gone walk-about. Thanks to Rupert for pointing me in the right direction!

I finally found the camera and proceeded to take a few pictures of my bookcases. I was hoping to have three of them by now, but Ikea only restocked them a few days back. I should be getting the third one next weekend, providing they haven't sold out again. :) Just before I took the pictures, I was rooting around in some boxes on top of some of my computers. To my surprise, I found three sealed Tec Toy games lurking in there. :D I bought them about two years ago and totally forgot I had them. That was a nice surprise. :) On with the pictures. Click them to enlarge. When I sort out the new Billy case, the left one of these will have eight shelves as the right one does. I've got a large pile of PSX, PS2, MegaCD, etc, games (not shown) to house. :) The pile of games at the bottom of the left one are spares/swaps, incase anyone was wondering. Except for the few MegaDrive games sitting on the disk boxen - I just have no space for them. :)

I notice 3 Operation Wolfs, does this mean you are in mine, Nops and Kenneths variation club? Does anyone else on here go for minor variations? Pretty much, yeah. I generally don't go hunting for them (except Tec Toy and Classic stuff) - I just find them by accident. :) Actually, I just noticed that one of my Operation WOLF variations isn't on SMS Power!'s scans section. Time to see what other ones are missing (and scan them, obviously :)). I know my Tec Toy Sonic 2 is also absent from the scans section.
