meh, fair enough, looks not bad, but there have been loads of similar things in the past no? I'm sure I've seen quite a few different things like this over the last year or 2 - in fact there's definately a thread about a similar product on this site somewhere...

This is great, but will it display a full colour picture on a PAL TV? I love the idea you have a screen and can plug it into your tv. The Game Gear should have been able to do this.....The price is pretty good and free shipping? Your laughing

Well, one way to find out I guess! Mine's been shipped, so I should have it in 5 - 10 days! Even if it doesn't, it's ok, I have a multi-region tv in my bedroom (plays PAL, NTSC & PAL-M!!), and the DVD player in my living room is NTSC compatible and has an AV in so should work through that even if if doesn't on my PAL TV in the living room! I'll let you know when I get it anyway!

Does the thing have an a/c adapter input which we can use in the UK without a stepdown transformer......

Professor Phil - If your intending to plug into the mains and a tv, isnt that missing the point of a portable master system?

Not really, first of all it would be cool to play GG only games such as Triple Trouble and Sonic Drift through your tv, next batteries don't last very long....and thirdly I could use the ac adpter around the house or if I'm on holiday. I used to take my GG to places with an adapter so I could play it in the hotel.
Also I may want to use my universal cigarrette lighter adapter with it, so I don't want something that just takes batteries.

there's a 5V DC socket, so you can buy a supply for it for less than £5 and you don't need a step down adapter (very rarely would you ever need a step down adapter for a handheld system, they almost never take mains voltage anyway)
