FINALLY got my hands on a MegaDrive/Master System converter and I LOVE IT! I just got it as is and was wondering if the box/manual contained anything interesting or if there was a hidden game in the actual converter or something. Oh, and if all the undersides were a cool maroon colour...

Nothing interesting in the instructions really. Just a little list of games that don't work with Megadrive pads (I have no idea why)
The only game I can remember being on it was Alien Syndrome. Maybe others will know what else was on it.

Are you talking about the HES converter? I was informed it did not come with instructions because they're on the box.
