Okay guys we all know the emulators for the pc and stuff but besides that, on which other consoles do you play the sms? So far I've turned my GBA into a real sms console with a 9 pin connector for the games, who knows, maybe even the light phaser will work . I can play the sms games due to a nifty little cartridge called the Supercard SD. I've also got an sms emu running on my psp, which is blinking awsome ;D And offcourse on my sms 2 Dont use an emu for the pc tho.

Im a real purist and only play games on their original hardware. I dont even like the retro compilations for modern consoles either, if i want to play megadrive sonic games, ill just play them on a megadrive as god intended . Having emulators for everything sure would be cheaper, and save a lot of space, but i just dont get the same enjoyment from emulation as i do from handling the real deal. I used to emulate Master System on my Amiga, which was nice as the pads plug straight in, and i can play them on the tv, but even that doesnt come close enough to the real console experience for my liking. Having said all that i wouldnt mind being able to emulate something on my PSP, as then i might actually use the thing, but mean Sony and their stupid homebrew hatred wont let me, i.e my psp firmware is too recent.

I played on my dreamcast while all my sms stuff was in storage for a while. It's OK. But nowhere near as good as the real thing.

I had a little go at sms on my PC but I hated it, Nothing compares to the real thing. I dont bother with any emu at all. Perhaps I'm missing out on some un-released titles but then again they still arn't the real thing.

I've played it on my Dreamcast and I'll soon be hoping to play it on my Nintendo DS Lite. SMS on the go, bliss.

I much rather play on the proper console, even the new ps2 collections etc cant sway me (for example Ive just bought Street Fighter Alpha 2 for the SNES for £12, when I could have got all three Alpha games on the PS2 for £15, I just prefer to use the proper pads) + I love game art so having the boxes is a nice touch for me.

well i like all people here prefer to play the real deal, nothing like changing carts to play a game insted of selecting from a long list of titles. But i do play sms game on my mac sometimes and on my xbox.

You can get Gameboy Advance flash carts that connect to your PC via a usb cable. Then you can just upload emulators and roms to it. Theres also adapters for standard cards like Compact Flash too

Yeah that sort of thing will do, although that one is a bit pricey since it doenst even come with a card I dont hvae anything like this myself, so havent tried any emulators, but a quick google will find you plenty of stuff to try out www.zophar.net/consoles/gameboy.html
