AV output! I'm not 100% sure I have a spare SC-3000 AV cable I want to spare, thought. You can butcher a SMS one probably. Cassette requires a jack-to-jack leads. Any cassette drive with audio I/O would work.

I was just wondering, I have come across an SC-3000 and I am considering buying it, but according to the owner the TV/Game switch is broken. How would one go about fixing that, I assume it's not the same set up as the SMS? I need to learn more about this sort of thing, pardon my ignorance I am also sorry if I shouldn't post here, I didn't want to start a new thread for something so trivial , so sorry for the OT.

You'll be able to use a standard RF lead from any older system - SMS/MD/NES etc, so there's no trouble there.

RF is evil, use RGB!

If you don't mind me asking, how? Could it be done with an SMS (only with the first one I imagine).

SC-3000, MarkIII, and most SMS 1 have RGB output. We always used a SCART lead in France. I don't know the details on how to get that working in other countries, I suppose it works on newer TV.

Still haven't got one, maybe I should resist temptation and stick with my TI99, unless Bock offers me a cheap one. (He won't , as he doesn't like me very much )
