Just wondering if there are any converters or mods that would allow you to be able to do this.

Short answer: No
Long answer: Yes, if you build an adapter yourself from hard to read technical schematics, AND make a few mods to the SMS unit, which again are only documented in difficult to read schematics..

You can, however, play Mark III games on a US or European Genesis/MegaDrive if you've got either a Japanese Mega Convertor (JP version of the Power Base/Master System Convertor) or one of Tototek's 3rd Party equivalents. |
