Guess me taking control has taken control! We hit 25 users on at once today. I don't believe NESWorld ever reached that sick of a level.

Good stuff! I was lead here by a guy throwing insults at me, but it's a good place to be and great to see there are still some real SMS enthusiasts aruond! I thought I was alone for a long time! lol

It's really cool around here, much better than the NES scene, though no one can figure out why. Everyone sticks together and shoves away the idiots. The only person I can think of that ever reached this position was retroboy79, who I'm sure you're somewhat familiar with now.

Yeah, from reading the boards, everyone seems to have it in for him! Is it just constant re-selling at excessive prices? I mean I feel pretty bad for selling the SMS3 I am at that price, but I was kind of left in the lurch by a friend with that one, having forked out £100 for it, and him telling me he didn't want it any more, so I'm trying to recoup that, and if it goes for £105 in the end I'll be happy. But I've sold stuff before at what I think are reasonably good prices! Hell I sold a near new MD2 & 16 games for £25 a couple of months back!, and 14 or the 16 games were near mint! But I guess it's difficult to try and justify yourself when people just catcha glimpse of you for the first time and they see something expensive. I'm guessing retroboy does it a lot?

All the time. For awhile he was pretending he wanted different items for "collecting," buying them for cheap off of people here, and then relisting them for ridiculous prices. No one seems to ever buy anything from him, thankfully.

I'll bare that in mind. Before I came to this board I had bought some stuff from him before on ebay. Can't remember what, but i remember thinking it was a bit expensive. At the time though, I think the game he was selling was the only complete one selling on ebay so I bought it anyway. I'll keep an eye out now.

I'd happily see him impaled on several large spikes, alá Sonic. The one thing that bugged me about Sonic, was that if Robotnik (Eggman? pfft) placed all of these traps and stuff in all the levels, why not just make a stage that was nothing but spikes? Not practical for games purposes, but hey, did he want to win or not?

i think the site gets lots of regular visitors who never sign up as members, and just read the forums. I visited this site, in its many different forms for years and years before joining up, wish i did it sooner.

Just wish we had more "regular" visitors. Thats true, some more people would be great. But i really like how this forum and the site developed and its great to see the site still alive after so many years Maybe i should get more regular again. I hate my life, i have no time for great sites like this

To be honest, the forums here have a lot more activity than most single-format sites I frequent (even if a fair bit of it is just banter ).

I do think the banter is what makes this site as good as it is.

Would I be right in saying I saw that the record was broken again yesterday? 26 at once? That's pretty good going!
