Personally, I've got to go against the grain in this one. Just my opinion obviously, but I never felt the speed when playing Road Rash. Maybe it's just me, but I was really psyched when the game first came out and got it not long after after reading the previews in MMS I think, but was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I think there are a LOT worse racing games than this, but IMO F1 has a much better feel of speed and more responsive controls, better scrolling etc. for a racing game. Road Rash IMO is probably the best bike game for the SMS, but NOT the best racing game.

Perhaps, but I seem to remember F1 sucking pretty hard in my books, I'll have to throw it in again to see. I find the controls in Road Rash very responsive, better than many games I can think of.

Well it's bound to be slow...at first because you start off with a really crap bike, but trying controlling the Diablo around sharp bends, cos most times you'll smash into something and go flying. I think the speed is fine and the scrolling is spot on. Maybe for extra speed play it at 60hz.....
As for F1, I don't rate it very highly, really average in my opinion, not as bad as Super Monaco GP, but it's still very average. IMO World Grand Prix with it's track editor is far the best car racing sim on the MS......
Road Rash and my game of the week many moons ago, Battle Out Run are my fav though, they fun, fast and exciting!!!

Oh, I was personifying it. Yes, of course I mean easter eggs and such other than milking it with the codes. Like maybe there's a fun glitch like in Road Rash II for the Genesis where you can get off your bike after being hit and constantly run into people and animals to hear the funny sounds over and over?

Guess not, oh well, this game has a nice difficulty curve so it doesn't really matter. I remembered the Wild Thing from the sequel and wondered if there was anything like that in the first one.

Anyone pounded through the entire game yet? Quite a bit of time to put into this.
