Here I am, taking time out of my day before I go back home to specifically make this post for our new game selection. Who's up next? She comes from the darkness, deep within the corners of your black hearts. She comes, from the SHADOWS! This well-known and respected Sega spiderpig with large eyes comes to us with a thick, Germanic tongue from the blackness and pure evilness of that fabled land of suicide metal, Germany! It's ShadowAngel, returning to us in her glory to give us another game! What will it be? WHAT?!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for this nice introduction Stan ;D Its getting harder and harder to find a game. I wanted to take Newzealand story but then i saw it was already GOTW So i was back at the beginning thinking about a game which is not too bad. I still could've taken Back to the Future 3 to piss you off but thats a bit nasty even for me ;D So my Game of the Week is: TAZ-MANIA I really love the cartoon and think Taz is one of the cutest characters ever and so back in the 90s i was happy to see there was a Taz game for my beloved master system ;D The mission in this game is to find the Lost Valley and collect some eggs to make the worlds biggest omelette. On your Journey you stumble across a lot of enemies, food and even some bombs. I like the animation when Taz eats a bomb and explodes, it looks so sweet. So i hope you enjoy this game

This is one of the games that I thought was a bit too cutesy when it came out to be bothered with, I never really gave this the chance it deservers, I'll try play for a couple of hours this week.

Hey good choice! I always thought the 8-bit consoles did cartoony games well (especially Disney and WB titles). Even the NES ;D

it's all been a bit feminine so far this GOTW® season, hasn't it? This is the fourth cute-cartoony-runny-jumpy-platformy-thing in a row now anyway, nice one Ange - a very pretty, smooth, fast-moving little number, clearly influenced by Sonic, which is no bad thing. I too was into the cartoon (who wasn't?), and this recreates the look of it all very nicely. I recall the game being fairly simple once you're with it, and more forgiving and rewarding than a lot of similar platformers. I'll see what I can do ;D

Yeah, but think of it as balancing the 4 macho shooters in a row before that Taz-mania, eh? Well, it's another competent cartoony platformer, but off the top of my head I can't recall much that makes it stand out from all the other similar titles. I'll give it another crack and see if I can't spot any unique touches...

Yeah, but think of it as balancing the 4 macho shooters in a row before that aye, I just weren't man enough to tackle those at the time - but after a month of pumping 200+lbs of cold hard iron and eating cigars, I'm ready to take 'em all on at once. Grr

This is the fourth cute-cartoony-runny-jumpy-platformy-thing in a row now Nearly all of the platform games on the master system are cute and in cartoon style and in my oppinion the master system is clearly missing some ultra brutal games with lots of blood and gore so most of the games are 'feminine' ;D

well done, excellent choice, here´s an excellent plantform game to the SMS with great graphics, sound and playability. I like this game a lot, but only finished it once, and that was the major flaw of the game in my opinion, the levels were almost all the same, you did the same thing over and over and the bosses weren´t that hard. Nevertheless, one of the best SMS plantformmers i ever played and a real nice choice!!
P.S. Now if you excuse me, i´m going to prepare my review for next week...

Last time I played this game I unfortunately had to shut it off near the end to go somewhere or anoter, I forget. It's a good game. Need to put it in again to give it a look, but I remember liking it. The only problem I seem to remember was that Taz only had one form of attack and you could just keep doing it over and over. Still, must play, must beat, must LIVE.

Well this game is a peice of piss... and that's why I love it! Was the first game I finished before, and was better at that my brother. In my glory days I finished in 40mins with a handsome 32 extra men in the kitty.
When I got it last year it took me a little over an hour ti finish it with 16 men... I was happy.
Still, nice graphics and colours for what it is, and I love when Taz eats the bombs!!
