I only have this game for the Mega Drive. Are there some differences between the games? The MD version is nice, a nice platform game ... the games are completely different. This game isn´t like the terminator or alien 3, in wich the SMS version was the same, save for the technical diferrences. In this case, the NES/GG and GBoy versions are the only ones similar to the SMS.

nice choice. I got only got hold of a copy of this game a few weeks ago, so its god timing and from my first quick go it looked great. Also noticed that the instruction booklet was massive! I've been ill for the last few weeks, was off work and had no internet access and so no game of the week until now

Wow, I've really got to stop giving these licensed platformers just a cursory glance! Finally got a chance to dig this out tonight after my other plans fell through, and I can't remember actually having played it before - I always give everything at least a brief go, but this didn't ring any bells at all. It was a very pleasant surprise though - while there's nothing particularly original about it, it's very well executed and the controls feel really tight. The life-bar is a real boon aswell. Given the gothic subject matter, I was quite surprised by the fairly bright colours and slightly cartoony look to some of the beasties aswell, but that's a nice change from all the other dark & gloomy platform hack & slashers.
Anyone know how many levels there are in normal mode? (I'm missing the manual for this one)

When I saw this as game of the week my first thought was "crap"
Although I have not had much time at all to play this week (spent about half an hour pluttering around with it) i can honestly say that it’s a far better game than I had given it credit. Sure there is really nothing new in the gameplay, I’d say it was a mix of prince of Persia and master of darkness. But it is quite well balanced game. The biggest problem I feel is the amount of "leaps of faith" you have to take without seeing where you will land first.
My opinion of this game has been raised, so I’d say the gotw was a success for me.

All the levels are in the normal mode EXCEPT for the final stage, which can only be accessed after beating the previous levels on the hardest setting.
