Great game. Has some glitches in NTSC, but I don't think there are any major problems. Last time I tried it I had great trouble beating the first level. I always die. Not an easy game.

Desert Strike...i don't like this game, it is way to difficult and i hate the fuel thing, even in hardcore simulations like falcon 4 you don't have to fly around searching for barrels Not to forget the german translation, a lot of wrong words and it looks like it was written from a little kid ;D

FANTASTIC CHOICE, this game along with Prince of Persia are DomarkĀ“s best SMS releases. In Desert Strike we have an excellent port of a Genesis game that touches a type of game that had only in air rescue and Choplifter their representants. The graphics are excellent to an SMS, playability is very good and the game is long and difficult. I ask you, what more could we ask. Highly recommended and in My top 10 games of all time (8th).

Crap, another game I don't own. Well at least I've played this a shitload. So i'll give my two-cents on it.
My mate had this game and I would constantly borrow it for weeks on end, playing it religously. I absolutely loved it, it was fairly challenging and I can't remember finishing, but I know it was entertaining. From memory graphics were pretty sweet at the time (I have a thing for "isometric" games) but I can't even remember if there was music or not. Good game.

Its ok. I have played it a bit and found it to be frustrating at times. Some of you may think its too hard or too boring but I will say this, I could have been much worse.
I would recommend the game to anyone who like the whole flight combat simulation scene, others might find it a bit hard or boring.

It is definitely a hard game, no doubt about it. I like it though. The fuel thing is a little annoying, but by just using the map it's not hard to find where it is and everything.

Another thing is that I wish your bullets would go a bit farther. You need to get so close to hit anything and they end up belting you most of the time.

Belting. Hmmmm, how to explain this. Well, it's kind of slang, but it isn't used much. Basically, it means to kick the crap out of over and over again. To really attack you. That's a good way of putting it. I think it comes from the fact that parents used to reprimand their children by beating them with a belt.

good choice - works well on the master system, this kind of game, I think. If I remember right, the Amiga 1200 version wasn't massively different to this, which is quite an achievement. ' Belting' is traditional Northern English slang for ' raining', ' punching' or ' absolutely marvellous'.

Just got this in the mail today. But since I don't have my Master System hooked up right now, I'll probably be playing it on my Dreamcast.
EDIT: Oh, screw it. I hooked up my SMS and tried it. Not too bad. The glitches Stan spoke of are worse than I expected, though. My Dreamcast is acting up and a CD-R with an emulator and roms I just burned didn't turn out, so I might be keeping my real system out longer than I expected. Now if only some money could fall into my lap so I could buy copies of Jurassic Park and the Shinobi games...
