I got this one few weeks ago on ebay An arabian version of altered beast. I know another french collector has already this game. If you have more informations about this kind of variationw, let me know ! Very well done mate! Such an interesting item. Funny they are both in France! Did you guys find them from similar sources/countries or whatever? There are few millions people living in France coming from algeria, marocco and tunisia (arabian countries). I think france is the good country for finding such game. The strangest thing is that the previous arabian game found was already altered beast. I guess it's the only one which has its own arabian manual...

So which version of Flash is harder to find, the paperback or the regular version? The regular version is a bit harder to find.

So I've returned from Prague and the experience was, so to say, sobering.
I visited more than two dozens of pawn shops all over the inner part of the city and almost none of them had any retro stuff. Most only had games going back to the PSX era at best The only things I found were a Gameboy and some US Megadrive games (which I hadn't much time to examine because the shopowner was an bottom hole).
To me it seems like the Czech have almost no retro games culture. Which is sad, because I found retro stores for pretty much everything else: Books, furniture, guns, CDs, many and huge stores. A particular one I remember had a remarkable selection of slot machines from the beginning of the last century. Oh, and booze. Enough to support Russia for a month.
What remained was the tourist part: I saw the Moldau, visited the Castle and ate beer gulash. If I ever go again, I would probably go by car as it takes one hour less (the train from Dresden is a slowpoke).
Edit: Wow, censorship.

Yup, I second that experience, and I also found that they had a lot of retro, antique and junk stores that mainly held countless articles and memorabilia from the communism era. Nothing gaming-related though, and the game-shops I went to were very disappointing . I quickly went back to traditional sightseeing, and drowned my sorrows in cheap, but well-tasting, beer instead (Thank you Kozel Dark)

Well, definitively better than the 299€ that one recurring dude tries to charge.

You get a lot of nice games recently lorf! Remembers me of the time when I had so many opportunities to buy lots of games, as my collection was very small

Loads to go as I'm only up to 35 games so far. I'm not going to rush and buy lots of rubbish games because they are cheap, plan to spread the good with the bad and take my time collecting.

Couple more goodies today: Love Ghouls N' Ghosts! Had it as a kid for the SMS too, and I guess the SMS version is pretty much the easiest one out there, but very enjoyable, although I find it to be a bit slow at times

It looks great and its surprising just how good it is when compared to the 16 Bit versions but the gameplay is far too slow. It also seems to have an issue with only a couple of enemies on screen at once which makes it far too easy, problem is this sort of game lives on its high difficulty and that spoils it
