I didnt much like cool spot tbh, i think theres somthing about playing a game thats advertising 7-up all the way through that puts me off.. or could it be the jerky as hell, glitchy graphics? mabey both, funny, i get the same feeling while playing the mcdonalds sponsered global gladiators game

Yeah but they look absoloutly awful. Sonic Chaos is the easiest and worst Sonic game IMO.

Agreed, they dont look as good as they do on the megadrive, but at least they tried, and having them in looking a bit.. well.. a bit less circular is better than not having them at all! i agree about what you say about sonic chaos being easy as well, but i think its the best sonic game imo. the graphics just seem to be a higher standard than those in the previous sonic titles. it doesnt look empty like sonic 1 & 2 do in places.

Well, i think sonic 2 graphics are awesome. It´s my 2nd favorite SMS game off all time (behind King Phantasy Star).

I rekon if the NES(non pirate) and SMS(US,AUS,UK,ETC) were still being made today aswell as GameCube, PS2 etc, SMS and NES would have got the type of poor games like GBC did and etc.

Honestly, I didn't much care for Double Dragon. It's more close to the arcade, but I hate the fact that when you pick up a weapon, flicker starts automatically! The game has such bad flicker, that I find it almost unbearable to play. I actually made it through the whole game, and that's where I'll probably leave it. Oh well. I'm sure there are others that I haven't played yet, but this one gets me aggravated with the constant shutting off and turning on of sprites. I think it had poor programmer's on the game.

Altered Beast is shitty for sure, but the source material isn't exactly groundbreaking either. If it had the RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE! sound byte I would have had no qualms, but dumping that is unacceptable! I mean, we get FIND THE MIRACLE BALL! from Alex Kidd: The Lost Stars, the technology was definitely there.
Golden Axe though, I think, is the least playable port. The frame rate is so low and the gameplay is so choppy, to me it is unplayable. I literally cannot get past a few baddies before turning off the game in a frustrated rage.
While I initially found Space Harrier to be uber frustrating (the 3-D version is somehow much more manageable), I've since developed a strong level of respect for the port. Considering the SMS could not do scaling, they did a damn good job at trying to simulate it. But where's my WELCOME TO THE FANTASY ZONE sound byte?

Hmmm, I have to say that MK3 sucks pretty hard. It was a risky port to begin with and I'm surprised they pulled anything out of it. SFII is pretty good for what it is, but they should have stripped it down some more to make it flow smoother.

Desert Strike was playable.. I've only played it on the game gear but I really enjoyed it though. However it is true aiming is horrible.. would not say desert strike is bad Thinking of conversions.... can't really think of many bad games

Allthough I really like the game.. why is the playing area so small on Mean Bean Machine. I don't see how making everything bigger could effect the performance of the game. Now I use a big TV It's much better.
