OK just looked up Alf (who remembers that show, I do) and on eBay its £300. What the hell.
Is that just the price now or is it just because its in the US? I realise its a US game but I'm sure I saw a copy not that long ago over here (UK) for 20 odd quid.
Any advice on getting a copy but not paying an entire mortgage payment to get it would be great.
(I don't usually post moaning about price so sorry if I sound a little moany)

It's nuts mate. I remember selling a copy of it for about £6 when I sold a lot of my collection. It's a truly terrible game as well.
It's mainly just because it's a US exclusive unfortunately. The other exclusives like Buster Douglas, Kings Quest and Montezuma's Revenge has also gone crazy.

Probably more indicative of the way prices have gone on Ebay for anything that's perceived as rare or desirable. Just because people are liking for 300 doesn't mean it will sell for that (though James Buster Douglas and Sonic 1 UPC prices mean you never know).

There's another one being sold for a "meager" $200. Crazy prices!

Only advice would be, don't rush collecting, there are still bargains to be had on eBay and trading etc if you are willing to wait.
