Hi there, I'm relatively new here. Normally more a thread reader, but now some questions ocurred to me and I thought some of you could help me.
I buy Master System games
from time to time on ebay. Not as a hardcore collector, more like an ethusiast. Some time ago I realized that some of my Game Boy games I bought on ebay are repro or fake. So is there also a problem with Master System games I have to look for?
Also: I have a copy of Zillion with a german manual (printed in black and not bound with staples) and asked myself if this is fake? Anybody knows about that?

From experience any fake master system games always seem to be the very rarest titles and cart only. To be fair the community is pretty good for labelling any fakes to be as repros. I know a while ago cex had a small flood around the Newcastle area of fake master system carts |

The black and white manuals were printed by Ariolasoft who were the distributors for Sega in Germany. These manuals were printed to accompany the original manual which would have been in English only as they were imported from Sega of America (Overstock).

Thanks for the informations. SO that means my copy of Zillion isn't complete ... damn.
If the fakes a mostly carts than I have less to worry.

Another question: Are there some covers who don't have significant silver colour (the grid)? Some of my copies are more greyish.
