So recently bought a pair of 3rd party NeoTek 3D glasses, and an official SEGA 3D glasses adapter. I plugged the glasses into the adapter, turned on the system with Maze Hunter 3D inserted, and I’m not getting the 3D effect. It seems as if the glasses aren’t even “shuttering” at all, they’re just opened at all times. However, I’m unsure if the glasses are broken or if the adapter is the problem. I looked up my issue and some people were talking about a 3rd prong on the jack in the adapter that needed to be pushed down to get the left lens working, however i opened up my adapter and I can’t see any issue with anything. When I boot up the system with the adapter inserted, it doesn’t make any difference, and my card slot is working with SEGA card games. I just can’t seem to figure out what the issue is.

I bought some 3rd party 3D glasses a while ago and they don't work properly on the SMS. The timing is out on the shutter rate on mine. Best thing to do is pick up a pair of authentic Sega 3D Glasses. If you obtain a Japanese Master System you don't need an adapter and plug the glasses straight into the unit...
