I also have a bit of a thing for AstroWarrior. It's a real shame there wasn't a few more levels. I would love to see someone making a "hack" sequel of some sorts with more levels. This was the first game I ever played on my SMS. Love it dearly to this day. The music will live with me forever.

Astro Warrior is a simple but very playable shooter. As an earlier low-memory title though, it's hampered with just a few levels on an endless loop. I reckon it could be hacked to be expanded though, which I agree, would be a good thing as it's a great game.

It's got really good mechanics and power-ups. I was actually surprised when I looped it... but yeah, it makes sense as a small game (often being packaged as half of a combo cartridge) that it has a limited number of levels.

It's weird, because it clearly takes some inspiration from Star Force - which got a fairly faithful port on the SG-1000. And yet, ends up having far less to it. Would have preferred an SMS port of Star Force.
