Heroes of the Lance clue book

I just had a flick through the manual of this game and on the fifth page is an advertisement for the official U.S. Gold clue book for Heroes of the Lance on the SMS costing £3.99.

My questions are thus:

Did this book actually exist; does anyone have a copy, if so, could they scan in a copy as a pdf; and how rare is it?

The game is horrendously difficult; perhaps they intended one to need the 'clue book' to be able to complete the game more easily.

I have remember seeing a guide to the game in console xs magazine which helped me brother and I to complete the game.

If you check out YouTube there are some long plays of the game if that helps.

Does the manual show a photo of the clue book?

I've never heard about it.

I found one for the PC but not for the SMS version
