Arr! Nice to be seein' ye ol' brass monkeys!
Hi guys!
I'm from Germany and just recently bought a Master System I in its original box, though the box itself has seen better times.
I have been keeping an eye out for an SMS for quite some time because I just love how it looks, feels and sounds.
My gaming age began somewhere around 1990, when I received my first GameBoy.
After that I was one of the last people to get a NES, just as everyone went wild about the SNES.
Man, those were the days... going into the stores to play the SNES and the Mega Drive! The Master System had just left the stores back then.
Quite some time had to pass until I got my own Mega Drive, though.
First I had to go through my own SNES for many years and enjoy the SMD only while hanging out at my friends' homes.
Somewhere around 2003/2004 I began expanding my collection.
Here came the N64, the SMD, PlayStation systems, a Game Gear and finally, the SMS.
I wanted a challenge, so I bought the cheapest "defective" Game Gear I could find and recapped it. In a hotel room. Far away from home.
Still working and already had lots of fun with it.
And then I found out about all those nice RGB cables, so I stocked up on them for my own consoles.
Right, so much for my gaming history.
I have been and always shall be... a Trekkie, so of course I have collected (almost) all the Star Trek games for my gaming platforms.
Then there's the Jurassic Park franchise which has been following me around all my life. My favorite game version is the SNES one, but I love playing the others, too.
You'll also find me hopping around the thirdgen.org boards from time to time, as my most expensive hobby is my Trans Am.
Alrighty then...
I'm just about to conjure up my first own issue-post on this forum.
Take care, folks
