Ozisoft and Australian releases thread!
Work in progress guys - bear with me. Plenty of weird stickers, pamphlets and assorted oddities to come. I'll work hard at this and post up all I can.
It's a start anyway.
The Australian Exclusives.
4 Pak All Action. Released in Australia by HES.
Six silver/grey releases.
Note that Wonderboy 3 was sold in a black case with silver cart. Still easily spotted by the lack of grid pattern on the cover art.
Regular ozisoft releases of these were also sold with the exception of Sonic Spinball.
Double Packs. 13 confirmed so far.
Considered the earlier releases.
Considered the later releases.
Forum members Rupert and Wolfticket are in possession of a further two (Sonic 2/Secret Command and Ayrton Senna/California Games. I'll hit them up for pictures ASAP. Lucky 13 was discovered in Tasmania in 2016 (T2 Judgment Day/Laser Ghost)
Smaller boxes and inserts. Sometimes the artwork is the same as Euro games but the insert is clipped to fit the box, with other games it's the same general insert but adjusted to fix a smaller box (Asterix) or can have unique insert artwork (Sonic Spinball).
You can also see that the inside of Ozisoft boxes are embossed with "MADE IN AUSTRALIA. OZI SOFT PTY LTD"
Cartridge stickers are usually a lot cheaper looking and less glossy. The grid pattern is almost always white instead of black and the colour can be brown or red.
You can see the rougher looking, lower quality plastic used in this pic too.
The back of the cart says "Made in Australia" not "Made in Japan". Also the screws used are different as you can see in the pic - not sure if this is unique to ozisoft games though.
Manuals are English only and are generally fold out and not stapled. Though there are all kinds of manual variations. Manuals often but not always have "Printed in Australia" on the back too.
They look to be printed different shades of blue also but I haven't compared all that many.
Games released with blue stickers - the sega hotline was a big deal in those pre-internet days. I remember calling to find the last piece of the map in Alex Kidd: High Tech World.
In this case we see artwork completely resized to suit the smaller Ozisoft boxes.
This is not definitive at this stage but getting close. The current list may be found here and will be posted up after a few further adjustments are made.
Note this does not include imports but strictly games made here by Ozisft. Imports along with their various stickers and parental guidance warnings will be discussed seperatley.

Key differences between Ozisoft and European releases.
