I was going to get there between 11:30 and noon. Hope we have time to a micro machines tournament. Maybe keep the competition down to a few games, as I'm sure people will want to explore.

I think we might be ok, my mk1 is a hang on/safari hunt version so I think I accidentally bought the best one (£7 for a base unit about 3 miles away from my house about 3 years ago) Micro Machines is essential

Was great meeting everyone, and thank you for making me feel very welcome. You guys rock! Was a great day at a great place, but the venue was somewhat distracting from really having a pure SMS session. I particularly enjoyed getting my arse handed to me on Micro machines before Ian gave me a proper schooling on point blank! lol. I will spend the next twelve months perfecting my skills to ensure I get less pwned should we all meet again! Hope everyone enjoyed the day

Was a great day - will definitely be going back very soon to try the newer stuff or just to play Ms Pacman all day... Hopefully next year we can have a proper competition, did enjoy playing Micro Machines & Putt and Putter though.

Legendary day, I get the feeling that forum outings to arcade club could be a regular thing.
Thanks to everyone that came, it wouldn't have been the same without you.
I'll get practising micro machines, means digging out the mk2 and running on rf but so be it. I'll need a lot of practise but I am determined to actually win something.
(oh and shout out to me for the indy500 fastest lap and fastest overall time- yay, i'm good at a game)

So who won the Micro Machines?
Running the competition is a lot of work but I think everyone misses it when it's not there...

Good to see everyone as usual. Nice to meet a new face too. It was a great day, the Arcade Club is an amazing place. I was there for about 12 hours and it still didn't feel like long enough. I agree with soup though, in that it's probably not the most ideal place to chat and play SMS. As much as I love the Arcade Club, I think I'd prefer going back to Pub/Zoo next year. Just my personal opinion though. I think rupert has the group photo. I'm sure he'll post it up soon.
