Last one I saw on eBay with a manual was £380. Thanks to a very kind member on here he sold it to me for £100 without a manual.

They tend to go for around $450 but I'm going to work the market and see what I can get unless a nice collector here is interested, who I know isn't a reseller.

Speaking of James Buster Douglas Knockout Boxing...did you happen to see this recent auction? The games were donated and the seller didn't know the value; hence, 'Buster Douglas' wasn't listed in the title or description. I thought/hoped it would go under the radar, but no such luck. Two bidders got into a massive bidding war (with two days remaining), which assuredly attracted a lot of attention. Neither of them won the auction. www.ebay.com/itm/Lot-of-17-Vintage-Sega-Master-System-Games-/382071262178?hash=item58f538cbe2:g:E-sAAOSw-3FZC0jzI'd put the value of the other 16 games around $150. So that means someone paid a ridiculous amount of money for the [sight unseen] Buster Douglas game. Wow!

Wow! £650 roughly. roughly double what it is worth, and thats IF its complete, which there is no guarantee that it is. Wow, just wow

yeah that's big candy , the second place bidder was willing to pay 999 and the third 960 so its safe to say the next copy will sell for something similar . I notice the seller has taken the time to invent their own returns policy , it's largely completely meaningless , If I had been the buyer that paid 1000 and I wasn't happy with the condition I would be opening a return and the seller would be accepting the return and refunding me .

Unlikely. Since I had the only one on the market when I sold mine, I tried to play with the numbers a bit. People really aren't willing to pay more than $500 for this in most cases, unless it was totally mint and graded perhaps, but that whole market is pretty niche still because it's kind of silly. The price increase here was likely uninformed noobs, and you also have to factor in the rest of the games there. Golden Axe can nab a decent amount currently, for example, and add up all the rest and it goes higher. Surprising it got this high, but if you get lucky with newer bidders or collectors it can, and will happen for the stupidest items.

returns on ebay items are mostly meaningless anyway as ebay and paypal have their own rules
