Hi folks. Wow, that was a great day out. Very busy, more so than last year but once again it was well worth it. Getting there early didn't make that much difference this time around, it filled up so fast that it was largely inconsequential and parking is always very good at the dome.
Went with an open mind like before whilst looking for some actual specifics; Danan Jungle Fighter, Cloud Master, Kenseiden (SMS) The Immortal (SMD) Shinobi X (SS) Fighters History (SNES)
Didn't see any of those but that didn't stop me from splurging some serious cash on other stuff!
Anyone spot me, I was wearing a grey/blue striped hat.
Did anyone else get what they wanted or get anything interesting? Did you miss out on anything you thought would be there later on?
Share your experience.

Well I nearly didn't go as on Friday night I felt ill (part of the course when you have a long term health condition), plus our toilet broke, we couldn't get the new one fitted until Sunday so as long as it was bought on Saturday I could go. I went over with rupert and we both had lists of what we wanted (mine was a list of cheap PSP games as I love picking up cool games for it) I bought about half a dozen along with some old Sega mags and a ps2 rarity (castle shikigami 2) which is Sega related as it was designed for the Sega Naomi platform

Nice going. I was also ill, been suffering with flu for about two weeks but I really wanted to go so just toughed it out.
I was looking around for some Super Play magazines but they were quite pricey when I finally found some so passed on them.
I ended up getting a Freeloader for the Nintendo Gamecube which Id wanted for ages. As Id got that it seemed appropriate to get an import so I bought a complete Gamecube port of the classic game, The Tower of Druaga.
Also bought some loose SNES carts, Super Tennis, D-Force and World Heroes. A complete Final Fight One for the GBA. Two complete games for the Saturn, Golden Axe - The Duel and Street Fighter Alpha - Warriors Dreams. Finally I got two Nintendo 64DD Mario Artist games still sealed.

I want to the Leeds Market and Doncaster Market in the end. Got quite a few nice things from both.. First stop was the Leeds Retro Games Fair, from there I got two Sonic Boom plushies I was missing plus 5 Master System games - Gangster Town (needed the Euro no ® version), Rescue Mission (needed the Euro ® version), World Cup Italia 90 (needed the 6 translations version). Dick Tracy US version (I just needed the manual) and Golfamania (I just needed a better Euro ® version cover). Then I picked up some blind bag Sonic Boom figures from Forbidden Planet that had been reduced to £1 each. Then picked up a Sonic 25th Anniversary art catalogue from Castle Galleries (free). Lastly we stopped off a Toys R Us on the way home and I found a Sonic Boom Shadow single 3" figure I needed. Pretty good day! Had a great day at the Doncaster Video Game Market with flatapex and here are my purchases.. Firstly the Master System games, mostly minor variations I was tracking down - Alex Kidd in Shinobi World Euro 6 languages, Altered Beast Euro no ® 5 languages, Dead Angle Euro no ®, Dick Tracy Euro no ®, Great Football Euro ®, Miracle Warriors Euro ®, The Ninja ® (needed the manual, seems surprisingly hard to find the ® manual for this game in good condition), Spellcaster Euro (the last Euro game I needed, as I only had the Aus version!) and Strider US (UPC stickered Euro game. I'm fairly certain the trader wasn't aware). 25th Anniversary Sonic plush, various boxed Sonic figures, Tails Funco bobble head, Sonic Super School Set, Burger King Sonic toy, large Sonic 20th Anniversary Japanese plastic bag and lastly 3 Sonic prints signed by the artist (Duncan Gutteridge) had a short chat with him, good guy 👍
