I've got a Sega Powerbase converter to play Master System Games on my Model 1 Genesis and it seems to have many issues like the following below: - It sometimes glitches out the sprites
- It crashes the games if it glitches out badly
- It sometimes Glitches out sounds/music
- It makes white spy glitch out and dance weirdly and do a strange glitch music
I've tried cleaning the port contacts and used the SNES port cleaner and nothing, tried cleaning the chip that goes to the genesis and still nothing...what could be the issue within' this Converter I have? I don't have any issue with the Master Gear one for Game Gear.

Where are you located? Some PAL games, though not many, will have problems, and the converter was known for having problems with additional games.

Their's no SMS components in the convertor so it can only be a poor connection with the pins. If you have throughly cleaned the pins then they must be damaged. I would try cleaning them again with brasso or I find plastX polish very good.

The connectors are still in good shape, though a clean can work on this one....I'll check them capacitors to insure it's not those.
