Ok so for the 4th year of me organising (and yes I know its early september, but they are always early dates as we post worldwide)...... before messaging please read the rules below
rules are as follows: budget is $25/£15/18euro including shipping, if you see something perfect for your recipient and its a bit more or less, thats up to you, be sensible though. doesnt have to be games or games related unless you want it to be- the more ideas your wishlist has the better, also anything important so for example if you want a game but it has to be complete with a manual or if you have anything you really don't want then shout up.
in order to sign up please join on here, in addition to this please send your details and wishlist to me asap, the sooner you send it, the more time once entry is closed you get to send your stuff out and your santa has to find and send stuff to you. *if by sign up deadline you haven't sent your info, you are removed from entering, harsh but fair, I am sure you will agree*
in the meantime- sign up on here and send me your list, closing date for signup is october 26th 1pm uk time, details of recipient and their wishlist will be sent out asap (i will try and do it the same day or within 48 hours if possible) with this in mind the deadline is 23rd of November for posting, if in your country the postal deadline to your recipient is before this date please allow enough time.
please note I am on holiday from 10th-18th October, so if you have questions please be aware I might not reply quickly during this time.
any questions? shout up or message me

if £15 is burning a hole in your pocket i would suggest spending it on a new pair of jeans, although if you can find decent jeans under about £50 a pair, you would be a greater man than me.
Seriously guys, lets get this one going

In my humble opinion, the budget $25/£15/18euro is quite low with today's prices, especially when including shipping. Anyway, good luck to everyone getting a nice gift!

Well id be more than happy to go a little higher. . Is £15 more of a guide minus p & p costs? With p & p off ebay and then sending it to the recipient it will probably be around £25 i would 🤔

Its a guide not a rule. I put it in place when higher budgets were seen as too high. I always end up spending loads more anyway.
I am happy to use whatever rule leads to greater participation

Options are: 1. Stay as we are 2. Increase budget to £25 or equivalent
I am keeping the rule that wishlist items dont have to be for the master system

I honestly don't think the $50AUD (or equivalent) spend used 4 or 5 years ago was asking too much. Don't get me wrong I'm not a wealthy man but factoring in postage, etc, etc it seemed a good amount and no-one seemed to begrudge spending it given you'd be getting something awesome in return! Either way though I'm happy to see this tradition still alive - nothing better than a few SMS games under the tree at xmas

This will be my 4th time organising this, I changed the budget when I did my first one as it was required at the time. I have no objection to moving it back to £25/30 euros/$40 or even the £30 equivalent. I was already spending that when factoring international postage and I am pretty sure everyone else was too. My main aim is for this to be successful, whatever the participants want, and whatever will bring participants in, is fine by me and will be done.
