I'd love to find one of the little beauties one day. Very doubtful any are still in their original condition though.
Anyone ever been to Asterix Park in France? I always wanted to go there when I was younger

Yeah, I went in either '92 or '93 ish, and I don't know what it is like now obviously, but I'm happy to tell you you haven't missed much. Certainly when I went anyway it was boring as hell, the brochures and ads made it look good but there was nothing to do in the place - honestly! It was NOTHING on Disney which I went to the same year, I can tell you that - funny because I was psyched about going to Asterix and didn't think I would enjoy Disney but it ended up completely the other way round!

This one is sealed as well, if anyone's interested. It's for Game Gear though...

Eurodisney is an amazing place i went in 2003 i think, was on a study trip in paris with uni for a week and some of us went for the day, kinda cool but i think i prefer Alton Towers. Also I found Disney World in florida quite alot better (2004) Has anyone been to six flags in new jersey? I would love to go there, highest rollercoaster in the world i think

Well after almost three years or so (forgot how long until I saw the start of this thread), an Asterix Gift Set video APPEARED and I nabbed it. In case you missed it, the eBay thread is here. Anyway, this verifies it. Going on what onyx said (see page three of this thread), it would be best to look at the tape and search for VHS copies in Spanish auctions. After that much time (almost two years), a copy finally appeared in awesome condition. Curious though. 1. As you see on page three of this thread, the advertisement for the tape/game combo shows a different VHS tape. 2. Regardless, the copy I've won is clearly THE tape, compare it with the actual release of the Asterix episode below: 3. This leaves me to wonder how this thing was packaged. Since it's different than the ad, something tells me it may have simply been shrinkwrapped and not sold on the special backing. Anyone from Spain remember anything? Perhaps you saw it in a store? 4. Judging from the amount of time it took for this to appear and the fact that only one other VHS copy (the other one pictured above, which is not the Sega version) has appeared, I'm doubting this will ever show up again and if it was sold with the backing in the ad, it's highly doubtful anyone will find a copy. Hopefully we can figure more out about it, but regardless, there you go, it finally happened. 5. And in case you're thinking, hey, wait, Stan, isn't this just from the Game Gear gift set with the shirt? Wrong, the Game Gear set, DID NOT come with a VHS tape, here it is:

That's a great update Stan, cheers for posting the info. Anybody else managed to find anything more about it in the last couple of years since the thread was started?

To my knowledge, no. I hope some Spanish members see this and can perhaps shed some light on what they may remember of it. How they saw it in a store would be key.

I saw this on your Instagram post wolfticket but wanted to just add a comment here as it’s great that these old threads are being kept alive with new finds. One day I’m sure that backing card will turn up or perhaps this was even a blister packet but just shown as a card for the purposes of the promo photo. After all France was the main place for blister packed games.
