I stumbled upon this site looking for SMS game info. I found that this site had everything I was looking for in an absolutely stunning layout. My first experience with the Master System was at my cousins house. They had an NES and a Master System. Since I already had an Nes, I played their master system a lot. I got hooked on games like Alien Syndrome, Out Run, After Burner, and Spy vs. Spy. No one that I went to school with had ever heard of the Master System. It's really sad it didn't do better here in the states. I found the SMS superior in graphics over the nes. It wasn't until much later in life (in my mid 20s) that a guy I worked with sold me a CIB master system with 20 boxed games for only $75us. It was like my own time machine. I'm still impressed by its capabilities despite the sub par sound chip. I'm very thankful to have found this site. I hope to one day get in on the game of the week discussion. That is an awesome idea. Thanks again for the great site. Happy Gaming!

Welcome! Here in the US the system was almost non-excitant. got lucky and had one growing up. Still very rare to find anyone here that has even heard of it.

Welcome, the benefit of the Master System being less successful in the U'S compared to Europe and beyond is that you have a whole load of excellent games to discover that weren't released there!
