The Atari 2600 was way over priced, who would choose that over an SMS or even a nes?

its a 7800 but its a valid point. if you were to put a nes next to a master system with a nes running mario and a master system running sonic for example, everyone would choose the master system

Blimey that C64 is expensive. I knew they sold games (I was buying Spectrum games in 1990 and had to sift through tapes on compatibility) but didn't think the machine was still in mass production let alone carried that price tag!
The 7800's status is reflected in the price. I don't think anyone bought a 7800.

I'll go to argos once I have been to index www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgjBj5Z7iYg10:16 he gets to the consoles but lots of vintage coolness before including tvs, hifi etc the 7800 was a bit above the 2600 but there doesnt look like there is 9 years difference between them (2600 was 78, 7800 was 86)

I have that Tyco video driver (designed by Sega) and a few extra videos for it. Complete, boxed with extra videos for about £3 from a charity shop

Here is another Index from winter 93 www.youtube.com/watch?v=9j6W9w_AIYwAt 08:02 he shows master system games, what caught my eye was the ultimate soccer cover. It's different to my copy, was their variants of this game? It's already hard to find without another variant.
