Who else remembers waiting for this? I was looking forward to it for weeks, I can still remember sat in the living room at home watching it on the family 21" TV!

This was brilliant. It is hard to believe that there isn't really anything like this on a mainstream channel anymore with Gaming being much more popular now than it was back in the day.

Yea it was the first program of its type and it was amazing! At the time there was no internet and not many gaming mags so this was a real 'wow' moment for me.

This was an epic tv show. Was pretty much my only way of seeing games played before getting them. My favorite part was when the gamesmaster would give out tips and cheats.
To bad the master system wasn't featured to much as they focused mostly on megadrive and snes.
Looking back at some of the shows on youtube I'm surprised Dominik Diamond got away with some of stuff he would come out with, he was fond of the mildly sexual innuendos involving joysticks and some of the questions to female celebs where borderline for a show at 6pm. It was a different era I guess.
One of my saved searches on ebay is a gamesmaster golden joystick, never going to happen but one can always hope.

Just watched a load of these. Absolutely f****n' awesome. Even better now then when I was a young'un. Dominik Diamond should be knighted. Love the amount of lewd jokes and double-entendres he comes out with. The sets, Patrick Moore, the amazing amount of reputable vg journalists they have on, the games themselves, the 90's celebs like Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Linford Christie, Frank Skinner, etc its all too much! I need to sit down..... and watch another episode.

If anyone like GM then I suggest you check out Games World, that used to be on Sky, presented by Bob Mills and featuring Dave Perry in yet more bandanas!
