Merry Christmas everyone! Duke Nukem is a hack of Alek Kidd in Miracle World made with KiddEd. 3 persons are working on this game: Calindro (KiddEd support, hack); Tibone (music and SFX); me (level design, hack). 2015 Christmas Demo (last public demo before physical release) is available here: www.cartmodding-sega8bit.com/dukenukem/Don't hesitate to comment and report any bug you can see. Enjoy!

Looks like a very involved hack, which is always nice.

Played through it. Nice to see some progress on this. I like level 2 the most so far. Is there a use for the weed yet? It didn't seem to do anything. Took a bunch of screenshots to be able to comment on individual parts more easily; imgur.com/a/fKeA11. It's unintuitive that you can suddenly jump through the roof here at the spike ball. 2. That's a bit of a dick move. I know the boxs hints at taking the upper path but since you use it all over the level the player probably won't notice it. You could use an item to lead the player on like you do in the third level instead. 3. The upper path is harder, so it would make sense to have the 1-up there I think. 4. Nice zillion-like design here! 5. There's no clue that you should take this path. 9. I would've put a reward here, maybe behind the boxes? 10. This part goes on for very long (as does the entire level I think) and the spike ball moves off screen as soon as you see it. 13. I think this is how the first trap should be; you can go ahead a bit and check if you're going the wrong way. After that you know that the rugby ball means death. 15 & 16. These jumps are just trial & error. 17. Nice platforming puzzle here. 18. This seemed a bit unfinished? 20. Really? lol Anyway, looking forward to the next version.

Thank you for your comments. 1. I know, I'm gonna fix that. About different possibility of passage, you have sign on the wall (it's will be on the notice). In level 3 you have to follow the floppy disk and not follow the ball of American football. The main page of Duke Nukem on my website is updated, you can now play online, have more information about limited pre-order.... www.cartmodding-sega8bit.com/dukenukem/

Well, it would still be trial & error if you were on the bike, but better than it is. Nice site updates

Yeah I see About the weed, the item is useless for now, but no item will be useless in the final version of the game (we have different idea with Calindro and Tibone about that).

Guys, I just want to remember you that Revo´s homebrew game, a Master System version of Duke Nukem, is going to be released in PHYSICAL FORMAT in the upcoming month of february. After the pre-ordered copies have been shipped, it can be ordered by more interested people later.
Here is a video of the final demo version:
I think it´s worth to support it, it´s not expensive at all. I will post a photo when my copy has arrived then.

I was looking for his website recently but couldn't find it. I'm interested in some of his previous titles he's made.

Just got my email from him yesterday, can't wait I agree with tycho, I wish there was a more active homebrew scene for the SMS. I think there's only been around 5 homebrews released on cart so far compared to 100's for the NES

Chunkchenko His website is offline for quite some time now and will never come online again, because Revó told me he lost all of his data and he will never make any cartmoddings anymore. It´s a shame, but I guess he won´t start making all this again (I hope I´m wrong, because he released a lot of videos on his Youtube channel). @tycho I understand your thoughts, the game is just for adults and different from what we know on the Master System. But I will give it a try, Revó has invested a lot of time in this project. We all know what a crazy guy he is, I´m sure some of his adult jokes will be funny wolfticket Yeah I got the letter as well, it´s exciting I have a secret information for you guys. I know a very nice guy over at SMS Power, who is a member of a small team that is working on another homebrew game. You probably know it from the Coding Competitions, the project name of the game is Mai Kai Quest, another game that is made with KiddEd (like Duke Nukem). I was lucky enough to meet two of the developers last month and they want to give their game a classic SMS touch that brings the childhood feelings back to you They want to release it in physical form too after they have completed their game (it´s in a very advanced state). It has a female main character, a nice storyline á la Digger Chan and many different levels and level designs. I played most of the (unfinished) levels and they are fun so far! So put some money aside hehe^^
