I think a good measure of how easy a game is if I was able to beat it when I was a kid. On that criteria, the few games that come to mind are Kung Fu Kid, Mercs, and E-Swat. if i can complete them now they must be easy lol the older i get the worse i seem to get

Yeah, I'd definitely say Virtua Fighter Animation. To call it even a button masher is an insult to those kind of games!
Danan: The Jungle Fighter and Rastan are both pretty easy when it comes to hack 'n slash games.
Alex Kidd in Shinobi World is pretty easy but so short that it really is a quick finish.
High School! Kimengumi is really easy as well once you figure out the location of objects and order of doing things.
Maybe the easiest is Astro Warrior since there are only a few levels before it repeats on end. Same goes for Transbot, Safari Hunt and many of those early looping games.

Sonic Chaos is one that's far too easy. Terminator I agree on, but the Megadrive version is even easier. Alex Kidd in Shinobi world is great, but over far too quickly.
Come to think of it, the easiest one surely must be Ghostbusters.

Dynamite dux is a great and easy game to play.
Rampart is a fun and easy game and once you learn populous it too will allow you to progress through the game.

Huh? He said Dynamite Dux is great. How is that hate? Populous needs time but its a case of flattening the land near settlements for York dudes to build more buildings and castles. The more followers you have you are able to use Devine invention such as earth quakes. Volcano and destructive knights to kill off the computer player. And as centrale says I like dynamite Du.

The limited number of enemies on screen vs the MD version makes it a lot easier. But then that wasn't too tricky, outside of the Blaze clone bosses - which are just impossible to hit!

It might be classed as cheating but I used a rapid fire joystick. The somersault girls just jump in front of you and you just need to keep punching and they don't move till you floor them.
