Hi folks! Finally fulfilled a small dream of mine and aquired a Sega SG-1000 II. It is actually at the customs office right now and I will pick it up tomorrow. Now I do have some questions: I do get it with all the cables, but can I just use Mega Drive RF and AC as well? You could easily do that with later Sega systems, and since the Japanese have akward RF connectors it would be a plus. If not, what kind of a converter do I need for the AC? I'm in Germany, so aside from the different connector voltage etc should be the same. For the RF I would just mod the cable with a European connector if the SMS/MD RF does not work. I am aware of the difference in frequency, but if I'm lucky it will display. Also, I have read that later SG-1000 II models can even be RGB modded. The question is how to tell them apart. Talk is of 4 or 5 rubber feet, but I have not seen pics of all the models bottoms. Mine does have 4 rubber feet, but there's two additional feet that are just grey. Maybe those had rubber too and it was lost? Anybody know if this is a moddable version? I'd greatly appreciate any help.
