9volt AC adapter is available from China for not a lot of money.
Search eBay for a Sega master system power supply.

You have to use the right ones,, just cause it fits and turns on ,,,1 extra voltage could damage your hardware .. I'm just saying

I use a 10 volt on my Game Gear which wants a 9 volt ,,, but back in 1995 this 10 volt ac adapter is all I had... And still works to this day.. So go figure

I dont know if this is correct but i was always told that the voltage must be no lower or higher than stated so if it says 9v it must be 9v. Amps must be no lower than stated but it can be higher, if its lower it will eventually damage your equipment but if its higher it will only draw the amps needed.
