Hello there friends!
I'm currently in the midst of writing up a year-by-year video game history and trying to find a place in as many gamin communities as I possibly can. I love great, passionate people who take video games seriously, and a couple articles on this site made me realize this was quite the place to be.
So I'm mainly here to see what people know about specific games, but I do find Sega amazingly fascinating. I never played a Sega console growing up, but the Dreamcast was like a magnet when I first learned about it. It was like meeting the Gamecube all over again, and I played both Skies of Arcadia and Sonic Adventure 2 a TON on my purple toy box.
Of course, this place being primarily about the Master System, some thoughts are brought to mind about its fate and the many hidden gems that most people haven't had the chance to experience. Sega is something I'm very much looking forward to learning more about, especially after reading about their pre-video game era in The Ultimate History of Video Games.
Currently I'm looking for information on some of the early Sega-Gremlin arcade titles, since I'm currently gearing up to cover the year of 1981. I sent an email to the site asking a few questions, but if you guys know anything specifically about Frogger, 005, or Turbo, it would be very helpful. Of course, any other resources would be great as well, since part of this history project is tha I'm building a database that people can access to learn more about games that I'm covering.
All of that is a long-winded way to say: Hello! I've come to steal your knowledge!
