The gold cartridges are published by Sega, and the silver ones by third parties. (although I think Tecmo was the only company to do this)

That looks awesome! I can't wait to give it a go once its dumped. Indeed it does! Having a sticker is a bit surprising for a prototype!

Congrats on this Bock, a great find. I remember me and onyx were talking about if this actually existed or not. It does make you wonder what other protos are out there waiting to be discovered!

Hmm. Personally I think Gauntlet is an awful game, never understood why it was so highly anticipated for the SMS when it had already been bested by the like of Alien Syndrome. Anyone else have any thoughts on Gauntlet?
That Championship Hockey is also really bad.

You should have bought Shinobi World first! SW is imo one of the best titles on the Master System, Get it! Even I admit High-tech-world was not great. Shinobi World is in a differnt class though.

Just gave it a try, intersting attempt. Looks like it was made using one of those "games workshop" packages. pretty good, but just doesn't seem to have the Alex Kidd feel for me, the jumping is a little bit annoying. And purely side-way scrolling??? Still, hats off to the person who sat and did all this.

IMO two of the worst are My Hero and Aztec Adventure. Although I kinda got used to My Hero, but it still is really bad. Aztec Adventure is just utterly annoying. Strange thing is if you play the Mark III version with FM sound it actually sounds pretty good.

Hmm, I have also spent hours and hour writing code for a webpage, scanning manuals, and entering information, and paying for the privilege, yet I don't expect to get any return for my effort. As you can probably tell, I'm not the kind of person who believes in charging people for information, especially not information that is technically copyrighted material. Don't worry guys, if I can pull together my Mags I'll scan and put up for free.

CD? Not too sure about that idea, CD's cost money to burn/package/distribute so I guess whoever is doing this is going to charge, would be much better if they were all on a webpage and accessible by all.

Think I have this mag. Still don't really read them all that often. Its nice to see the time again when Sonic just came out. Not to sure about review of Outrun Europa being a classic mind you - don't get me wrong, it's a good game, but it's just good... Not great.

Would have loved another "real" Shinobi game. ( I don't think cyber shinobi or akisw qualify as proper sequels)

Not sure about this, I got a copy of this in about 1997 from a store who was flogging off all its master system stock, it didn't come with a poster, but its possible that it had just been thrown away as the store removed manuals and carts from the boxes on display.
I've got a few extra copies through bulk buys on ebay the past couple of years, but still don't have the poster. It's not really a big deal to me mind you.
