I only had time to go to one car boot this morning before i started work at 6:30, but i didn't do bad. This was more of a test for me and i passed with flying colours. I walked straight past loads of retro gaming bargains that i didn't really want but would usually buy anyway ;D. Things i could have had included, 4 unboxed MD's with a few loose carts, 2 loose SMS's with a few loose carts, couple of loose speccies with stacks of games, a mint boxed C64 with stacks of games and a few loose PS2's. Anyway here's what i did buy: Playstation, in very good condition with 5 complete games and a few demo discs (I sort of collect Playstation games , honestly i needed it) = £5 Dreamcast, box is slightly water damaged, boxed controller, couple of VMU's 12 complete games two games, 1 boxed game, 1 game missing covers in a damaged box and a demo disc = £10

I'm pretty sure that they're for the Megadrive, i've seen a boxed sets now and there is no mention of the SMS on the box. Still cool though, and as long as the pad connector's are the same distance apart on the MD and SMS they should work on the SMS too.

They're both great, stop arguing ;D. I generally play my SMS games through my MD, saves having two consoles set up .

I've had a couple of people complain about my postage rates before bidding. I normally tell them they can have their games posted at cost in a used jiffy bag, just as soon as they send me an email accepting all liability for damage caused in transit.....
Why buy something in great condition and compromise it all by being a cheap skate on postage?

Sounds like you've got a right pleb there mate.
It annoys me when i pay over the odds and recieve stuff wrapped in brown paper, but if i receive a well packed item it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I've even offered to pay sellers more postage in the past to ensure my item would be shipped in a decent box and bubble wrap.
You can't win with ebay though. I charge £2.50 per game when i sell, i always use bubble wrap and new boxes. Yet one buyer actually complained that a game was too well packaged. Apparently because i'd ensured the game would be safe in transit by bubble wrapping it and then sticking it to the box with a large sticker for extra protection, he'd crushed the box slightly getting it out. Surely he would have taken time instead of ripping it straight out of the box is he was that bothered about the condition.

I might have a try at a few more reviews, really enjoyed doing the last one.
Is there a list of what games still need reviewing?

DIY - Sad I know but now I have my own house you have to be able to turn your hand to almost anything I'm forever doing DIY, I wouldn't class it as a hobby though. It's mainly because i'm too tight to pay someone else to do it . Hate giving someone my hard earned cash for doing something i can do myself.
