Obviously if you came to Brazil you'd most certainly find nothing very good! As playgeneration said, it's very likely that you'll find a few SMS games here and there, but it's also very likely that they'll be in poor/ridiculous/WTF? condition. But... if you have some free time to spend around São Paulo, you can still find sealed games on some "caves" throughout the city.

Well, tips are basically the same as the already mentioned ones -- keeping the D weapon to shoot the Hiluns (mines), then getting the C weapon to shoot whatever else appears on the screen . Special attention to those enemies that may come from behind (Boasites and Ascules) and also those damn Zelnucs (the Audi emblem). The names were taken from the manual, of course... Ah, and some good reflexes...

334,060!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive even taken a pic on my phone as proof. Should be able toget it on computer tommorow. Hmm... I was watching it carefully but I couldn't participate since I was not at home for the past few days. So I just gave it a go or two and got 543,920 on the second try (first was 180xxx). Well, it seems you guys are at another competition right now... which I cannot participate because I don't have a Space Harrier copy. If anyone is interested in photographic evidence, here ya go:

I've finally found someone who will not bash TransBot... Now I just have to find someone who will actually enjoy playing Bart vs the World.

Back to the Future Part II is simply horrendous. F-16 Fighter and Mortal Kombat 3 aren't that much better either.

The most I paid back on the day: R$44,90 (£11,60) for FIFA International Soccer. The most I paid (on a single game) after start collecting: R$44,00 (£11,40) for Lemmings. AU$800,00 = R$1300,00. Wow.

In fact, most of the other RPGs are rarer than Phantasy Star, around here...

It's not exactly rare, but complete copies usually go for some big money (in R$) on MercadoLivre -- something around £15 - £20. The blue box version tend to be a little bit more expensive than the white box version.

id love to finally see the end of this game. Heh, let's just say that it would be good not to get overly excited about that; please take several deep breaths before the last boss and, if you do pass through him, just remember you've always loved this game as a kid, as you said... Concerning the Mandara boss, I think there isn't much to say about it... I for one just advance a few steps while severely shooting (this probably only works if you have the Gun) -- but just enough for not touching the lasers if you eventually get hit one time as the Mandaras get nearer. After killing them all, don't get desperate as the head starts throwing those fire balls -- advance a little bit from you position to stay under the first ball and jump in order to escape from the second (and repeat the process for the following fire balls); shoot the head's brain every time you jump to escape from the 'even' fire balls (2nd, 4th, 6th, etc). This should do it, I guess...

Anyone know if this s a variation on the cart and built in versions or is mine just screwed up? It seems that the built-in Sonic games were all like that -- it's the same deal here in Brazil.

Each of my favorite games is associated with a specific time or situation in my life, so each one is special in a different way -- thus making it even harder to choose just one. But, as several others around here, Sonic the Hedgehog is certainly the game I played the most back in time, so it can somewhat be said as my "favorite".
