Hey guys,
I am here for more than three years now. Time goes by, wow.
5 years ago, I began to expand my Master System collection. I bought all games I could and added them to the games I already had from childhood times. Now, in september 2014, after getting my Tec Toy Masters of Combat, I thought I´ll finish it once and for all and get the last game, Power Strike II. There was an auction on Ebay from a german private seller. The box of the game was to see on the picture and the description said: "SEGA MASTER SYSTEM POWER STRIKE II Hülle und Anleitung" which means box and instructions and of course the non-redemption stuff you ever read in such auctions. I placed a killer bid and won the auction with and ending price of 101,00€ + 4,00€ shipping in a small package.
It needed only a few days and it arrived. I was curious like a little child, opened it and.. there was no cart. Yay! The seller didn´t mentioned anything about a game cart in his auction, but normal people expect that the cart is included. Now I had a problem because I had no paypal insurance (he only accepted bank transfer - intelligent). So I´ve sent him 3 mails in a short time without answers, and I finally opened a case over Ebay.
I mentioned that he listed the game in the wrong category (PC and videogames directly, instead of listing it under ´other´ as a replacement part). After I won the auction, I told him that it´s the last game I needed for my collection, and he didn´t told me that the cart isn´t included - cold as ice. After 5 days waiting, he answered and refused any guiltiness. I expected that, because he did the same thing with other buyers in the past. ´Not with me!´ I thought. No answers to the things I´ve mentioned before and he tried to defer the whole thing as long as possible until Ebay should close the case automatically. After more and more messages, I was forced to issue an ultimatum:
1. He gives me the money back and I send the item back to him
2. He gives me 85€ back and I keep the item
3. He still doesn´t answer and I contact Ebay and the police
I gave him 48 hours time. So he accepted point 2. Yeah it was his plan to screw the buyer to make quick money. Before I placed my bid, the game was already at 58€, so another guy should have the problem instead of me. Now, the thing is cleared and I have a Power Strike II box and a manual at home with no heart - the game cart.
After that long story, I need your help guys. I have every PAL game at home in some form, but not Power Strike II. I just need a game cart and I hope my friends here are able to find one somewhere! We all have different sources and the big hunt can begin from october 1 on.
Many thanks for reading my post number 1,200!
