I tried making a simple program with the ZX Basic SMS compiler. print "Hello!"
and got this: C:\Users\User\Downloads\zxb-sms-alpha-0.03\example>..\bin\zxb-sms.exe test.zxb test.asm:46: ERROR: Unknown symbol "EQU".
Assembly failed.
Please help me!

Well, unfutunately, ZX-Basic for SMS is currently on an unfinished state, and many things won't work, like string support, text I/O, multiplication, division, floating point operations, etc.
On the other hand, most of the things you'll need for implementing a game are already supported: integer variables, integer arithmetic, loading tilesets into VRAM, reading joysticks, positioning sprites, updating of the background layer and scrolling.
I'd recommend to take a look at the examples to have a better idea of how to use it. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
