Well, if the video shows what the game is going to be like, its not going to be on my to pick up list. No real game play shown. Just a 20 second view of the robot walking.

Difficult to see whether it'll be little more than moving a cursor around the screen, or something closer to an SMS MechWarrior/Gundam/GunGriffon. The article mentions Space Harrier, which isn't really supported by the video.

I´ve posted a comment below the vid and he replied: Here is the Facebook page: Animus XSSo it´s early in development but there is a chance that the game will be finished someday. French forum members could visit the website of the game, as there is everything in french

I only understand a few french words, but google translator helps a lot.
A short summary of the discussion is that other members advise Furrtek to avoid using 3D letters on the cover and make it "more retro", similar with all other SMS games, without 3D effects. Also, Furrtek says that possibly will post a video of the game by the end of February, if everything goes fine.
Well, let's see!

Actually it's the same game, he only changed the name (see post "./159").
furrtek also plans to add a chip into the cartridge to help with sprites animation ("to copy data from one place to another").

Oh, thank you vingazole for the info. I hadn't realized it's the same game. I put the blame on google translator! I hope we'll see the game finished soon!

I'm glad it hasn't been abandoned. Very interesting to think it might have an additional chip in the cartridge, like some NES games had back in the day.
