Did they just decide that, because Zangief has his stage in the USSR and goes dancing with Gorbachev, he's a communist and thus a bad guy? Because that is the dumbest thing, especially when you have a bunch of genuine bad guys around him who could make that speech. You can't do a film based on something as nerdy as video games and get something so very very wrong like that

Seems more like a rip off of Toy Story.

Everyone has picked up on the fact that Zangief isn't a bad guy, but that's what the film seems to be all about, game characters who aren't actually as bad as the games portray. Besides Zangief never came across as the good guy to me when I originally played Street Fighter II:

That looks like it could be really good! I take it Disney have gotten the rights to use those characters as there's no mistaken the likes of Bowser, Blinky, etc.

Saw the film this week, no idea why it took so long to come out in the cinemas here. Its really good, loved how they bought the 2D arcade characters to life. Its well worth seeing, not just for spotting classic game character cameos but because its a great film in its own right. The Wreck It Ralph arcade game could so easily be done on the Master System, I wonder if anyone will try and remake it for a classic system.

I watched it last weekend and lived it (first half more than 2nd)...
Wish I could get one of the 12 arcade machines they made for advertising this film!
I'd love to see a reproduction cabinet, I'd get one for sure.
Playgeneration, don't you fancy making this game for Master System? You talented enough to do it...

Not talented enough to code it, I'm tempted to mock it up though, there's not much graphics to it so it wouldn't take too much time to recreate them in sms colours and in a suitable size.

I may go to watch this tonight. Did you watch it in 3D or normal?
