Hey guys, As there's been a serious lack of content on the site for a while, I thought I'd try add a little something. I have created a page which contains a list of all the Easter Eggs in SMS games that I know of. Check out the article here: www.smstributes.co.uk/view_page.asp?articleid=245Did you know about all of those? Know of any more I can add to the list? Hi there, I wouldn't call these 'Easter Eggs' as such, but just a couple of slightly odd moments in 'Shinobi'. One of them feature's a weird ledge (which I still wonder what the heck that was about?) and secondly, an image of what happens when ones 'Flying Squirrel' magic goes slightly wrong. Cheers.

I'd say there were more glitches than easter eggs but I enjoy glitches too, so thanks for sharing!

I agree about them being possible glitches. Don't really see them as EE material but then again I haven't played the game...yet!!!

I spotted this recently: When you boot up Marble Madness, the high score screen randomly displays different names. 1. 2. 3. 4. I think 1 might be an anagram. Perhaps 'Intro by Bonnie'? If you change some of the vowels on 3, it spells 'VIC REEVES BIG NIGHT OUT' (the name of an early 90's British sketch show). Anyone have any ideas on the others?

I feel so stupid when people spot such things. I just wonder how you were urged to search about it, I really can't understand! This is a great find, congrats! Unfortunately I can't find any hidden phrases on the others.

I think number one is a music theme, maybe the programmers musical tastes?
Orb = orbital Nin = nine inch nails Eno = Brian eno Bit = babes in toyland Dm = depeche mode Dk = dead Kennedys Y = yes? Yazoo? Vp = village people? Might be a private joke.
I think most of them are music based, pix could mean pixies (great band)

T P = Terry Pratchett (Sci-Fi/Fantasy - eg. Discworld series) S K = Stephen King (Horror - eg. Dark tower series, Misery, Dolores Claiborne) HGW = H.G. Wells (Sci-Fi - eg. The Time Machine, War of the Worlds) J S = John Saul (Horror - eg. Suffer the Children) B S = Bram Stoker (Horror - eg. Dracula) W G = William Gibson (Sci-Fi - eg. Sprawl series) PJF = Philip José Farmer (Sci-Fi/Fantasy - eg. Riverworld Series) H H = Hannah Howell? (Medieval romance literature - Maybe also a private joke? )

I feel so stupid when people spot such things. I just wonder how you were urged to search about it, I really can't understand! I wasn't really searching for it. I was just playing Marble Madness and spotted it. I do have a natural instinct to look at high score screens though for reasons like this! I think number one is a music theme, maybe the programmers musical tastes? Excellent shout! I think you're probably right there. Yeah I think you might be on to something, if you look at nr. 4 this could perhaps be the favorite sci-fi/fantasy/horror book authors? Again, excellent suggestion. I think you must be right. I had a go at number 2 and came up with these: PIX = Pixies ALI = Alice Cooper? Alice in Chains? NIK = Nik Kershaw MJA = Mick Jagger? Michael Jackson? MAK = Make-Up? A G = Andrew Gold? Aluminum Group? I M = Iron Maiden J L = Jesus Lizard? John Lennon?

Pixies are a great band! I thought I was their only fan not at all, i discovered them in 1989 courtesy of the itv chart show (one of my other nerd subjects) and saw them on the reunion tour in 2005. That's awesome! Are they a good live act or studio Madonna's? Trompe le Monde was the album that sank its hooks into me, I think it was 91/92 maybe. They will be in Philadelphia in early June and I'm considering getting tickets. Not sure though? Your review may help me decide. Thanks.
