Here is a Swedish list of sorts: shinobiman.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=6832&page=1Not much information more than the games that were sold in the Brio store. Though I can already now see a game that's missing. Scramble Spirits, I bought it at Toys 'R Us though could be why, but it has Swedish text in the manual and backcover so it was obviously intended for sale here in Sweden.

Would you guys like to add the list of original printed A4-A3 manuals that came with the games here in Belgium (and maybe The Netherlands)? It can be found here: shinobiman.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=general&thread=8496&page=1It's probably not close to complete, but I've been collecting them since day 1 and asking around a bit lately as well. If you want more info on whether they are either A4 or A3, that can be added as well.

Hi Stan, it´s been a while. Didn´t know you were with health problems. I think a Portuguese list would be important also.

Is there a list for UK released games? Got a copy of Quartet in English but it doesn't mention Sega of America of some sort anywhere. Looks like a UK release to me. It's this one: www.smspower.org/Scans/Quartet-SMS-EU-NoLimits-SMbut it's marked as EU.

Oh, very interesting! So there aren't that many UK only games? (English only for that matter) Just found out about Lion King and then found this one in my collection. They're added to my European variation list

After discovering a game that wasn't on any list, not even Barney's extensive list of card variations, I wanted to check here if some of you could take a look at my region variations. Preferably those who also collect variations and have some experience with them. What kind of variations am I looking for? Major ones, meaning that they must have a rather important addition to or difference from the original European release. e.g. Jungle Book is a different title on the cover, Lion King is an entire different insert, Belgian releases have a Dutch A4-A3 printed manual, German releases have a German/English cover and different manual, Italian releases have an English game description and different manual,... I'm not looking for the SM/R/TM/Now there are... variations (yet). If you could just take a look at this excel file and let me know which ones I'm missing, that would be great. Remember, we're talking about EUROPEAN releases. All except Classic and Kixx because they are (more or less) definite. Feel free to use the list yourself. I put it together so you can print it in landscape and use it as a checklist. www.2shared.com/file/4PInEzyx/Master_System_region_variation.html

For example, the German version of Fantasy Zone is an Ariolasoft title, but the German version of Aztec Adventure has a US box/cart with a black & white German manual: Then you get further complications such as Choplifter, which was released in both formats: Then with Portuguese releases, you have only marked the "purple" games, there's no mention of the games with euro games with extra Portuguese manuals. You would then need to differentiate between those released with colour manuals and those with monochrome manuals, since games like Sonic 2 were released in both formats: I keep various lists and photos for all sorts of variants like this, but trying to combine them into one "master" list is a bit too much. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to knock your work, but doing it this way will always be a little bit messy and incomplete. I think this thread, linking to individual country lists, is the best way to keep on top of things for now. BTW - there's also a Spanish version of World Cup USA 94...

That's exactly what I need as far as input goes I'll start splitting up the German and Portuguese lists. Never knew about those Germans and totally forgot about those Portuguese manuals. If the German version only has one other release, I don't really need to specify, but since it will be split up either way I guess I'll just split it up completely. Thanks a lot for the input!

Alright guys, work has done begun! Care to elaborate on what you're doing Stan?? I've taken all the photos for an article/thread I'd thought of doing about Ozisoft stuff. Mainly outlining all the various stickers, catalogues, manual variations etc etc. I'll try to find the time to get it done over the coming weeks.
