would you mind sharing where you sourced those glasses in the end? I was wondering this as well. It would be nice to have a pair of these to play with and not have to worry about scratching or breaking an original pair.

Btw, would you mind sharing where you sourced those glasses in the end? No problem. I bought them from a company called Trinity Media in the USA, here is the eBay link: cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290607786454#ht_2106wt_905I contacted them and asked if they would ship to Australia and they kindly agreed. Put in an offer of $8 and they accepted, shipping was $20 via USPS priority. Converted into Australian dollars it set me back around $25. They posted the item the next day and supplied a tracking number so I'm quite impressed with their service. I also found some alternatives if you're interested. ahugq.vcfpq.servertrust.com/product_p/xw1.htmThe glasses above can also be found on eBay. I didn't go for them as they are a little pricey with shipping, about $50 for me. You really need to organise a group buy and grab 4 pairs, that way everyone only pays around $30 per set. www.ultimate3dheaven.com/wi3dgllcshin.htmlAlso found these, but they have a flat international shipping rate of $39, so not worth buying just a single pair.

I ordered a set myself (offered $7.50 and they accepted), with the same $20 shipping.

Would these work with an LCD TV or is there more to it than just using new glasses?

Would these work with an LCD TV or is there more to it than just using new glasses? No, it won't work with an LCD TV regardless of whether you use official glasses or third party glasses like the ASUS ones. I don't know of any way to make it work, the 3D tech relies on a CRT monitor.

I'm happy to announce that the glasses arrived; brand new, in box, well packed and in perfect condition. I'm very happy with my purchase. They're light weight, well built, comfortable and I can confirm that they work perfectly with the Master System. Maze Hunter 3D is probably my favourite game at the moment. It's a fun little game, the 3D effect is great with a good sense of depth and when you jump the character looks like he's jumping out of the screen. For the sake of playing 3D games on the Master System, this is a much cheaper and better option than the official glasses which are often scratched, cracked and terribly expensive. Certainly not as collectable though. Even if/when I land a pair of the official glasses, I'll still use these for the sake of playing.

How are you playing these games with just the glasses? I already own a pair of 3D Glasses, but is it really easier to find the adapter on the cheap? I know there is a small circuit inside of the adapter, you could probably make it yourself if you have the time.
Anyways, just curious. And thanks for the tip on the 3D Glasses.

I have a Japanese Master System, so the glasses plug is built in, no adapter required.
I did manage to pick up an adapter on eBay for .99c so I can now use the glasses with my PAL Master System.

Why am I only just learning of these newer glasses now? I have some Sega 3D glasses that I dare not use as they don't fit me and there is a small crack inbetween the two lenses. I'm going to get some of these ASAP instead of my original plan of getting another pricey pair of Sega glasses! Edit: I picked up some of these. cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=261229763725
