Well the seller didn't even bother responding to the complaint case I opened on ebay, which has now passed 10 days and closed. So now its up to ebay to decide if he did anything wrong, but they wont be getting me back any money no matter the result since I didn't use paypal on the sellers insistance.
What makes it all the more annoying is that two cheaper and genuine complete copies came up for sale so soon after I bought this fake, and having wasted so much on this I really didn't feel like buying another straight away.

Condolences to you guys! If I spot any in the future on ebay.com.au I'll PM you guys direct so you can make the seller an offer. i got mine this way for about $20 so a bargain like that should make up for it someday. I had a few transactions recently that involved sending cash through the post to New Zealand. I was a little dubious but it worked out fine luckily!

Tough break, guys. Back when all I needed was Buster Douglas, I won a CIB auction for $99. When I received it the insert was a total home printer job. The listing had said it was 100% genuine. I took it up with the seller, and he appologized and said that it was a print out and he had accidentally used a template from an older auction to sell this. Somehow I don't buy that, since if you're listing a big money game like Buster, you're going to take the time to note such qualities. Regardless, I got my cash back, but it makes you wonder how many collectors out there have been duped without even knowing it...

Oh, and another thing. We note that the SMS covers are usually a cream off-white...I wonder if that was the case at release, or if aging has simply had its way with the paper. Some of the sealed games I have look a lot whiter than opened ones. It could be a case of our experiences today overriding the reality of the past since we have nothing but the games in our hands today to go by.
